Miniature Schnauzer Training

Miniature Schnauzers are very lively but also eager to please. Training your Mini puppy should be rewarding for the both of you. Remember that Minis need to change up their routine. Mental stimulation is just as important physical stimulation and obedience training. Making sure Miniature Schnauzer puppies have the ability to switch up and learn commands new ways will go a long way to ensuring they remain loyal and obedient as grown dogs. This, too,  will help avoid any accidents caused out of boredom. Additionally, because they are small dogs, watch the treat count. It’s important to reward your Miniature Schnauzer, but not at the expense of gaining weight too quickly.

Miniature Schnauzer Puppy Ears

Healthy puppies will have clean ears with no signs of discharge, redness, inflammation or pungent odour. If the puppy is aggressively scratching or pawing their ear, tilting their head or excessively flipping their head, it may also be a sign of discomfort. Breeds with floppy ears are more prone to infection or disease.
