As soon as you bring your little one home, you should begin obedience training right away. Since they're so smart, Poodles pick up bad habits as fast as they pick up good ones. For example, Poodles are notorious for “marking their territory”. If you don't housetrain your puppy, cleaning up mistakes inside will become all too common. Commands like "sit" and "come" will become second nature, so you can advance to the next level quick. Depending on the owner, this may be anything from shake a paw to circus performance.
