Your Keeshond puppy wants to learn how to be the best member of your family it can be, and it is your job as a trainer to teach them. The first building block in the training process, is to establish trust. This process begins as soon as you start spending quality time with your puppy. Any love a Keeshond puppy receives, it will give back tenfold. Show your Keeshond puppy around the neighbourhood and introduce them to the world. Once this trust is established, teaching your Kees the basics won’t be a problem. This breed excels at obedience and learns fast, so enjoy these first steps with your new lifelong companion.
Healthy puppies will have clean ears with no signs of discharge, redness, inflammation or pungent odour. If the puppy is aggressively scratching or pawing their ear, tilting their head or excessively flipping their head, it may also be a sign of discomfort. Breeds with floppy ears are more prone to infection or disease.
