Cane Corso Training

Cane Corso puppies learn the most between 3 and 12 weeks old, so as soon as you bring it home let the training begin! A puppy will need to learn all the basic commands, such as "sit", "stay", "down" and "come". As the pup quickly grows into a strong dog, listening to instructions is vital for you and your dog's safety. Letting your Corso do whatever it want as a puppy will translate into unwanted behaviour as an adult. It's important to take control and not allow chewing, biting, jumping on the couch, and so on. A Corso puppy is a curious puppy, so let it explore different animals, people and environments! Socializing your Corso is crucial for it to grow into a stable, behaved, and friendly adult. It will also prevent their likelihood for aggression towards strangers and other animals. Corso puppies do best with positive reinforcement! This means praising good behaviours, while a simple "no" is enough when they do something you don't like. Puppy training is so important when it comes to developing a well-mannered Corso — so grab the leash and get ready to take control!

Cane Corso Puppy Ears

Healthy puppies will have clean ears with no signs of discharge, redness, inflammation or pungent odour. If the puppy is aggressively scratching or pawing their ear, tilting their head or excessively flipping their head, it may also be a sign of discomfort. Breeds with floppy ears are more prone to infection or disease.
