Bull Terriers can be stubborn in training, so it’s important to get them started early, and in doing so, you will create an everlasting bond. With a little love and patience, and positive reinforcement upheld by food and toys, your Bull Terrier will be on the course to obedience. Bull Terriers are independent and feisty dogs so they may never be pups who play fetch. Stay focused on your training, as untrained Bull Terriers can be destructive and feisty, and they can easily become great sporting dogs, participating in course and agility games, because of their competitive nature.
Healthy puppies will have clean ears with no signs of discharge, redness, inflammation or pungent odour. If the puppy is aggressively scratching or pawing their ear, tilting their head or excessively flipping their head, it may also be a sign of discomfort. Breeds with floppy ears are more prone to infection or disease.
